Generative AI Policy

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

Digital Social Sciences recognizes the growing use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in scholarly research and publishing. Authors may use AI-assisted technologies for purposes such as language editing, grammar correction, translation, formatting, and research organization.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all submitted content. The use of AI tools does not transfer accountability from the authors, who must verify all information, sources, citations, and research findings included in their manuscripts.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, as they are unable to assume responsibility for the work or meet accepted authorship criteria.

The use of AI for fabricating or manipulating data, generating false or misleading content, creating fictitious references, or engaging in any form of research or publication misconduct is strictly prohibited.

Authors should disclose any significant use of generative AI in the preparation of their manuscripts. Digital Social Sciences supports the ethical, transparent, and responsible use of AI while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
