Plagiarism Policy
Digital Social Sciences is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism-detection software, including Turnitin, prior to peer review.
As a general guideline, the overall Similarity Index (SI) should not exceed 19%, with no more than 5% similarity from a single source, excluding properly cited and quoted material where applicable.
The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, citation manipulation, and unethical paraphrasing. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted work is original and that all sources are appropriately acknowledged.
Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct may be rejected, corrected, or retracted in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.
